Harp lessons for Autumn 2019 are just getting organized! Still thinking of beginning lessons? It is never too late, lesson availability is open for scheduling, for lesson inquiries please contact Mary.

Mary's primary teaching days are Mondays and Tuesdays this year
If you are considering trying harp, but not sure about committing - contact Mary to arrange a trial lesson to wrap your fingers around some strings and see if you can manage to not fall in love with harp!

No instrument is required for trial lessons, or when beginning. You can have an opportunity to try all of Mary's harps, and rental harps are easily acquired in this area.

Mary has been playing harp for more than half her life already, and offers insights into practicing techniques to make sure learning harp can fit within busy schedules. Mary's undergraduate degree was completed at Wilfrid Laurier University's Faculty of Music, where she studied harp with Lori Gemmell, and Sharlene Wallace. With experience learning by ear, reading music, studying Celtic harp, and Classical harp along with arranging popular music, improvisation and composition, Mary offers a solid foundation of harp technique to allow you to play in the style you like best. Pedal harp lessons are also available.
